The Hi-Kurile Co-operative is one of the successful exponents of the Palabora Foundation in community development and black empowerment.

The members of the Cooperative have received extensive training from the Palabora Foundation in technical skills and small business development over a number of years before founding their own small business,
specializing in Silk Screening and Sewing,  textile products are hand printed and have a flair of
the African bush and its wildlife, with ethnic patterns

Today, they are financially independent receiving only managerial assistance from the Palabora Foundation.
